Ah, The Wolverine… he was always the coolest X-Man. Well, Rogue was pretty cool too once, when she was a feisty flying southern belle, but since those movies butchered her character, the ever so slightly unhinged wolf-man with his rebellious tendencies and volatile temper has no competition. A wise move then to avoid taking up where X-Men: The Last Stand left off (killing practically everyone), and instead show us what we really want to see (that'd be Hugh Jackman with no shirt on). In Logan's pre-claw days, he spent his time seeking revenge against Victor Creed, who later becomes Sabertooth, for the death of his girlfriend. Ultimately, we'll witness his transformation into every comic lover's favourite bad boy as he goes through the mutant Weapon X program. If you think that sounds good, you'll be glad to hear it will be followed later in 2009 by X-Men Origins: Magneto, the back story behind the villainous master of metal supposedly based on Malcolm X.
